All heat sources should be used with an appropriate thermostat to regulate your bulbs output. The compatible thermostat for this bulb is a Dimming thermostat. Dimming thermostats come in two ranges - Normal 16-34'C, High Range 24-42'C. Ensure you select the correct temperature range for your animal.
